Texarkana Texas Police would like your help in solving a disappearance that dates back to the 1980’s.

We know that this is a long shot, but we’re hoping that somebody somewhere might have that bit of information that can share with us that will help solve 36 year old missing person case.
Margaret Jane Chauncy was last seen about 11:15 on the night of October 20, 1987, when she got off her shift at the old St. Michaels Hospital in downtown Texarkana. We believe that she was headed to her apartment, but she apparently never made it there. After she missed two subsequent shifts at the hospital, her coworkers reported her missing. The red 1983 Pontiac Fiero that she was driving that night (similar to the one pictured) has never been found. Neither has the watch that she always wore that had the name of a family member “Carolyn Sewell” engraved on the back.
Despite an extensive investigation and search in the weeks and months following her disappearance, nothing provided any viable clues. Sadly, there hasn’t been any new leads on this case in years, and we still have no idea what happened to her. We are still working on it though. We know that Margaret’s family – especially her daughters – are still seeking answers.
