The new My Pig Radio High School Football Player of The Week comes to us from Pleasant Grove High School in Texarkana.
The honor is given each week to a Student/Athlete from one of the 4 Texarkana high school football teams. Our sponsor is Red River Credit Union.
This week we have co-players of the week from the Hawks, nominated by their Athletic Director and Head Football Coach Josh Gibson.
On Defense is Senior Outside Linebacker Corban Franklin. Franklin had 11 tackles, 2 of them resulted in tackles for losses.
Offensively, the nod goes to Sophomore Tight End Lance Jackson, who had 3 receptions for a total of 91 yards, and a touchdown.
These two outstanding players contributed to the 63-0 district victory over Spring Hill.
