I was reminded the other day how much I HATE Windows. No, not the kind you open or have to wash. The Microsoft kind. The company that keeps updating Windows software until I’ve lost count of how many versions I’ve had to fight with.
My latest experience happened when my Chromebook started to mess up videos I tried to watch. No, they were not that kind of videos. But suddenly when I tried to watch the latest Kelli video my screen went Green. So maybe I should blame Kelli? But I remembered I had bought a laptop years ago on sale. So I figured rather than get another Chromebook I would use the Windows laptop. I thought it would be so easy…like my Chromebook. But noooooo.
Now I remember WHY I got a Chromebook. I have been spending Days just trying to set up the laptop to use. Seems my version of Windows is out of date….surprise. But when I try to update and wait Hours and Hours for the files to download and install…it always says, “There Was A Problem” and I have to start all over again.
I’m about ready to throw the laptop into the trash. Have you ever had to deal with this problem? Did you keep trying to update your Windows computer or did you give up? I’m tempted to try and load LINUX on the laptop and hope it works. Where is Bill Gates when you need him? Do you love or hate Windows computers? I think I’m just going to buy a new Chromebook and save myself the time and frustration of trying to wait for my Windows laptop to update.
