Exciting news – a feature-length documentary on the legendary June Carter Cash is coming to Paramount Plus! The film, called ‘June’, will take a look at her amazing singing career and features interviews with some of her closest friends and family, including Dolly Parton, Reese Witherspoon, and Willie Nelson. At the screening, June’s son John Carter Cash, was joined by his sister, Carlene Cash, and wife, Ana Cristina Cash.
June was a true multi-talented artist, winning five Grammys for her incredible work as a comedian, musician, actor, and author. As you probably already know, she co-wrote the unforgettable song “Ring of Fire” and was an inspiration to many. Sadly, June passed away on May 15th, 2003, at the age of 73, but her legacy lives on through her music.
