In the past few weeks, social media has been inundated with memes of a woman and a white cat. The memes now have an official home: Woman Yelling At Cat (Smudge) But, do you know how this all came to be in the first place?
According to The Mighty, the story has a sad past. The screaming woman is Taylor Armstrong, of the Real Wives of Beverly Hills. She is flanked by Camille Grammar, who is/was actor Kelsey Grammar’s wife. Apparently, there was a heated discussion regarding Taylor Armstrong having been a victim of domestic violence. Now, Smudge the Cat is Canadian. He is seated at the table, with lettuce on his plate. According to his owner, Smudge has a thing about sitting at the dinner table with the family, so a photo was made, and added to Instagram.

Some of these are downright silly. Some are hilarious. Some are kind of mean. Many are political. And some, have been localized. Some I can’t begin to post because they are just a bit too nasty for my tastes, and yours, too. (Well, some of you, anyway)
I have posted quite a few lately, mainly because the memes amuse me highly. Most of you have been okay with it. Some of you grew tired quickly or never liked them, in the first place. And that’s fine with me. Many times, I self-entertain on my page, as much as I seek to entertain you. No harm, no foul. I figure, with all of the sad happenings in the world, personal passings of friends, and so forth, we NEED humor. We crave funny.
