Some work during the nighttime hours is scheduled to take place on Interstate 30 eastbound in Texarkana this week.
Here is a Press Release from the Texas Department of Transportation:
Wednesday, October 27, and Thursday, October 28, eastbound lanes are scheduled to be closed from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. Approximately one mile of Interstate 30 will be affected.
Traffic will be detoured to the eastbound Frontage Road at Exit 223 just past Summerhill Road. Motorists can re-enter at the entrance ramp before State Line Avenue. Westbound lanes will remain open.
The scheduled nighttime closures are a result of planned work at the KCS Railroad bridge.
All closures are subject to change based on weather and other circumstances.
