Police Rescue Woman Hanging From Window

Texas side police faced a new problem, when a woman decided to flee a second story apartment through a window.

Yesterday afternoon, Officers Aaron Jones and Lauren Freeman were called to a local apartment complex about a woman who was trespassing in one of the apartments. After they met briefly with the manager, they went up to the apartment to tell the woman that she’d have to leave.

Apparently, the 57-year-old woman didn’t really want to talk to them, so she decided to slip out a window at the back of the apartment. Unfortunately for her, it was on the second floor of the building, and she quickly found herself outside and hanging upside down from the window by only her leg. When they heard her screaming for help, they rushed to the back room and managed to grab hold of her ankle to try to keep her from falling to the ground below. Even with her struggling with them the whole time, they somehow managed to hang on to her for more than five minutes until the Texarkana Texas Fire Department could get there with ladder to help get her down. Both of the officers were pretty worn out by the time it was all over.
