Premier High School Expands Its Drone Pilot Program

This is an exciting addition to the Premier High School in Texarkana, AR.  The FFA requires a “Drone License” to legally fly a drone and students who complete the Drone Pilot course.  This is a very exciting program that could lead to a rewarding career.

TEXARKANA, TX, Jun 11, 2021 Premier High School – Texarkana will now offer the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) 107 drone pilot certification through its Career and Technical Education (CTE) program. The median wage for an FAA-Certified Commercial Drone Pilot is more than $42,000 per year and students at other Premier High School campuses have already become licensed drone pilots

“We’re thrilled to be able to provide students ages 26 and under, with a quality education and training that could lead to a high-demand career,” says Campus Director Bria Howe. “We have received a lot of interest in this program and we encourage students to enroll now before it’s too late.”
