Rascal Flatts guitarist Joe Don Rooney is dispelling rumors and starting anew for 2024. The country star took to X to say that he’s healthy and sober following a 2021 drunk driving accident. He said his career and his mistakes in his marriage to his ex-wife made him out of control. But the biggest revelation came when he said there were rumors that he was transitioning to become a woman. Joe wrote, “I’m not transitioning to be a woman. That thought has never entered my mind. Nothing against the trans community whatsoever, but I needed to set the record straight.”
