Milsap is truly a legendary musician. It is amazing how he has charted more than 40 No. 1 songs throughout his career. As an ace singer and piano player, he has developed a masterful command of multiple genres such as country, rock, pop, funk, and rhythm and blues. Despite being born blind, Milsap has shown that nothing can stop him from pursuing his passion. He is a true inspiration to many. With hits like “It Was Almost Like a Song,” “Stranger in My House,” “No Gettin’ Over Me” and “Smoky Mountain Rain,” Milsap has left an indelible mark on the music industry and ushered in the country-pop movement in the late 1970s and early ’80s.
