Is it just me? Or were you as Super Un-Impressed with the Superbowl as I am? After all the hype about the Game, the Commercials, and the Half-Time show…I really was left a little bored and disappointed. I mean a lot of the new commercials I had already seen before the game. Lots of the ones I saw during the game either just fell flat with me or I really was not sure what the heck they were trying to say or sell.
Then the game just never really got exciting to me. I was glad it was not a blowout. But it seemed a lot less exciting than I was expecting. Both offenses seemed to not really have it together. Both quarterbacks made their share of bad throws and bad decisions. It was a good game. But despite the comeback by the Chiefs, I don’t think it was a great game to watch.
And speaking of bad decisions. I really don’t know what to say about the Half-Time show. I’ve seen praises for it from several Major News Channels. But to me, it was just the usual lip-syncing singing while people jumped around in clothes that were not what I would call “family-friendly”.
Maybe I’m just too old. But I think I would have liked a Marching Band more than what I saw on the TV. What about you? Did you think the entire thing was over-hyped and did not live up to what you wanted to see? Let me know if you feel the same as me.
