It’s not everyday someone calls the Police to report a home invasion in Texarkana AR, but today we got one such call. TAPD Officer Allan Collins and Lt. Zach White responded to find the reporting parties home was in fact invaded, by thousands of suspects… of the Eastern Yellowjacket variety. While this is normally not something we deal with (professional exterminators are much better equipped) we dove in, and managed to get away without casualties, on our side anyway. The yellowjacket wasps weren’t quite as lucky, succumbing to the chemical weapons we brought.

Also, for record, TAPD recommends contacting a professional exterminator in such situations. We are far from trained in this area of expertise, as evidenced by the poor spray/shooting stance pictured below. Of course, we always help when we can. When this poor lady called the PD for help, not knowing where else to turn, we had to go out and help, even when it wasn’t in our “job description.”
