This week is going to be exciting for everyone in the Texarkana area. Our airport is breaking ground on the latest updates on the airport terminal and a significant anniversary. You won’t want to miss the excitement! We have complete details to follow.
Texarkana, just ONE WEEK until we break ground on the new terminal. Be sure to tune in to our live-streamed groundbreaking ceremony for the new airport passenger terminal on June 12, 2021 at 12:00 PM CST. The live stream will be available on our website and social media sites (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter).
Then, come out to the airport (use long-term lot for parking) from 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM CST on Saturday June 12th and from 9:00 AM -12:00 PM CST on Sunday June 13th to donate ($100) to the Flagship Detroit Foundation (includes membership and ride on DC-3 aircraft) who will be here for the 90th Anniversary between the Airport and American Airlines. Those that do not wish to donate are still highly encouraged to come out during those times to view/tour the DC-3 aircraft and LifeNet helicopter as well as enjoy groundbreaking photo opportunities!
