Some things just don’t work out as planned.

Here is a Press Release from the Texarkana Texas Police Department.

This young man tried to rob Lowe’s just before closing time on September 14th. Unfortunately for him, his efforts were a complete failure and he wound up with absolutely nothing.
He came into the store a few minutes before and stayed up close to the front – presumably so he could keep an eye on the cash registers. As the money was being collected from the registers to close out at the end of the night, he decided it was now or never. He ran over and tried to snatch the money bag from the employee, but – much to his dismay – they weren’t letting go.
During the struggle, the guy managed to drop his cell phone, which the quick-thinking employee quickly picked up and hurled across the store. Suddenly, his priorities made a seismic shift and he completely forgot about what he was doing (we can’t blame him because we know how expensive phones are these days). While he was running around trying to find his phone, the employees were able to secure the money bag where he could no longer get to it. Realizing it was over, he ran out of the store empty handed and jumped into a white two door car that was waiting for him in the parking lot.
This fumbling felon will probably not be getting any phone calls from the NFL anytime soon, but we’d sure like to talk to him. If you know who he is, please give us a call at 903-798-3116 or Texarkana Area Crime Stoppers at 903-793-STOP.
