Texarkana Texas Isn’t Chicken

Hey, have you heard the latest news? The council recently amended to allow hens in the city limits of Texarkana, Texas! Now, residents can have up to 6 hens per household, as long as there are at least 4 square feet per hen in their enclosure and it is no less than 30 feet from any residential dwelling. However, roosters are still not allowed within the city limits. Keeping hens is an excellent option for reducing food waste since they can eat table scraps, bugs, and weeds. Plus, they provide a regular source of fresh eggs for your family!
