The Texarkana Texas Police Department would like the public’s help in finding a suspect wanted on Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapons charge.

This male suspect has been featured on the Police Department’s Felony Friday Facebook post. Here is that Police Department Release:

You’ve seen Dominique Robertson on our page before but never as our Felony Friday honoree. Today, however, is his lucky day and we’re gonna change that for him.
We have a felony warrant for him for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon for an incident last October. He is alleged to have shot another man in the back as he drove down the road.
The victim left his house to go see a girl in the Liberty Eylau area that evening. As he was driving on S. Robison Road, Robertson pulled up beside him in his car and started shooting at him. There were several others in the car with Robertson, but he is the only one that he recognized. The two men had been involved in a big fight a few days before over something so he knows exactly who Robertson is. The victim turned down a side road to get away from Robertson, and he drove back home. Once he got there, he told his friends what happened and they immediately took him to the hospital.
Thankfully, the victim made a full recovery. He was pretty lucky that he was only hit once though because there were bullet holes found all along the passenger side of his car. We also found several shell casings in the roadway exactly where the victim said all this happened.
Robertson talked to Detective Cody Harris on the phone later that night but said that there was no way in heck that he was turning himself in on the warrant. Apparently, he’s a man of his word because he hasn’t done that and has been running from us ever since. We’ve been told that he is still in Texarkana but has managed to avoid us so far.
You know that it’s gotta wear on him to always have to be looking over his shoulder wondering if today is the day that we find him. p Nobody needs that kind of stress – especially these days. You can help us help him get all that pressure off of his plate. If you know where he is, give us a call at 903-798-3116 and we’ll come out and serve this warrant. All that stress and worry about having to hide from us will suddenly disappear. We’re sure that he’ll thank us for that – eventually.
