The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating an overnight accident which left one person dead.
According to a Public Information Officer for the DPS, the deadly incident was called into troopers around 3:30 this morning. Authorities say a female pedestrian was struck by an unknown vehicle on Highway 67 near Highway 8.
When authorities arrived they found the victim deceased in the roadway.
