The Texarkana Texas Police Department wants to ensure everyone knows about a disturbing robbery suspect. Last week there were three robberies over in the Highland Park neighborhood, and TTPD believes the same man is responsible for all three armed robberies. Essentially a man walks up to his prey and, at gunpoint, demands man. Please be aware of your surroundings and stay safe. TTPD is looking for the suspect, who is described as “The suspect is described as a light-skinned black male who is about 6 feet tall with a large build. At least one of the victims said he had star tattoos under both eyes.”
Over the last week, there have been three robberies of individuals in the Highland Park neighborhood. We believe that they were all committed by the same man.
On July 20th, a worker was sitting in his truck outside a house in the 3800 block of Pine Street at 9:30 in the morning when the suspect walked up to him with a gun and demanded his money.
On July 26th about 4:30p, the suspect walked into a house where a painter was working in the 700 block of W. 39th. Again, he was armed with a gun and demanded the victim’s money.
A little after 1:00 yesterday afternoon, another worker was taking a break outside a house on which he was working in the 3800 block of Magnolia when the suspect walked up to him.
In all three cases, officers have been pretty close by when the calls came out but were unable to find the suspect. We think he probably lives or regularly visits somewhere close by. He’s been on foot during each of the robberies.
The suspect is described as a light-skinned black male who is about 6 feet tall with a large build. At least one of the victims said that he had star tattoos under both eyes.
If you see someone that matches this description walking in this neighborhood, please call 911 immediately. If you think you might know who it is, please give us a call at 903-798-3116.
