Even though it seems school just let out for Summer, it’s time to start back, and that means driving safe in our school zones.
Here is a Press Release from the Texarkana Texas Police Department:
As Liberty Eylau and Pleasant Grove School Districts’ students head back to classes this Wednesday morning (Texarkana ISD is next Wednesday), we will be working traffic enforcement in school zones across the city.
Please remember to put down your phone and watch for the reduced speed limit. If not, you might well get the chance to meet Motor Officer Darren Jones or one of our other friendly officers on the side of the road.
