TTPD Welcomes New Officers To The Force

The Texarkana Texas Police Department has added some new officers to their ranks.

Here is the Press Release from the Police Department:

Derrick Bowers, Tanner Tolliver, and Jose Chavez were sworn in this morning by Municipal Judge Sherry Jackson and then received their badges from Chief Kevin Schutte. They recently graduated the police academy.

After completing the field training program where they will work under the daily supervision of a senior officer for the next 15 weeks, they’ll be assigned to the Operations Division as patrol officers.
