Did you know that many households are eligible to revive help with their internet bills? Are you or someone you know struggling to afford high-speed internet service? The Emergency Broadband Benefit helps families and households pay for Internet service during the COVID-19 pandemic. Your household is eligible if a member of the household meets at least one of the criteria below:
- Has an income that is at or below 135% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines
- Participates in certain government programs, such as SNAP or Medicaid
- Receives benefits under the free and reduced-price school lunch or breakfast program
- Received a Federal Pell Grant during the current award year
- Experienced a large loss of income due to job loss or furlough since February 29, 2020
- Meets the eligibility criteria for a participating broadband provider’s existing low-income or COVID-19 programs
