Who Is Eligible For High Speed Internet Help

Did you know that many households are eligible to revive help with their internet bills? Are you or someone you know struggling to afford high-speed internet service? The Emergency Broadband Benefit helps families and households pay for Internet service during the COVID-19 pandemic. Your household is eligible if a member of the household meets at least one of the criteria below:

  • Has an income that is at or below 135% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines
  • Participates in certain government programs, such as SNAP or Medicaid
  • Receives benefits under the free and reduced-price school lunch or breakfast program
  • Received a Federal Pell Grant during the current award year
  • Experienced a large loss of income due to job loss or furlough since February 29, 2020
  • Meets the eligibility criteria for a participating broadband provider’s existing low-income or COVID-19 programs
